What You Will Do:

This position is for a Full-Time Java Full-Stack Developer position that will support two critical DoD programs. You will support a production-grade, cyber-compliant identity management system that supports the credential lifecycle operations across the DoD. You will support development, maintenance, and cyber compliance efforts for the program. The ideal candidate will have experience developing secure web applications in an enterprise environment using Spring Boot, Angular, and WebLogic, and should be comfortable navigating DoD cyber requirements and containerized deployments. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and enhance the application deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Troubleshoot production issues in collaboration with the Operation support groups, Network, and Platform teams
  • Implement cyber remediation based on Fortify scan and security testing reports
  • Integrate application with DoD E-ICAM using SAML protocols
  • Perform secure builds and deployments using GitHub, Maven, and Jenkins
  • Maintain environment-specific configuration using enterprise Configuration Management practices
  • Support biometric components (BioComponent, BioSP & SecuGen) and interface upgrades
  • Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and update JIRA tasks across both programs
  • Assist in Tier III customer support
  • Work with multiple stakeholders including Cyber, Enterprise Database, Operational Support, and Product teams

What You Will Need:

  • U.S. citizenship is contractually required for this role
  • Minimum of SEVEN (7) years of Java EE/Spring Boot application development
  • Front-End: Angular (v13+), HTML, CSS
  • Back-End: Java, Spring MVC, REST APIs
  • Security: Experience with PKI, SSL, SAML 2.0
  • Build/DevOps: GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Sonatype, Fortify
  • Middleware: WebLogic 12c (or similar)
  • Experience working in a DoD or Federal IT environment
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity compliance and Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and containerization (Docker
  • Possess or the ability to obtain a DOD 8140 certification
  • Familiarity with BioSP/BioComponent, SecuGen, or biometric integrations
  • Prior work with DISA E-ICAM,
  • Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies

    The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
