What You Will Do:
The Managing Consultant Workforce will lead the design, development and implementation of integrated (clinical effectiveness and system operations) optimization efforts within resulting in the workforce and capacity management solution. He or she will manage the work stream efforts to timeline / scope / budget across the larger platform.
This position includes responsibilities in both leveraging and delivering quality, high-level, consulting services to clients for the Guidehouse Healthcare Provider Practice. The following sections describe the specific areas of prime importance in the execution of these responsibilities:
Deliver industry expertise and management consulting services in support of client engagements in the Healthcare Practice
Develop practice wide methodologies to be applied across individual account strategies / client plans
Establish account management relationships with key client decision makers
Identify key industry issues and develop a practice response
Assist in the development of industry alliances and relationships within vertical markets
Provide delivery assurance support for engagements with targeted clients
Mentor Guidehouse staff on assignments within the account delivering services
Provide visible leadership within the account and the practice.
What You Will Need:
5-7 years (minimum) of experience in workforce, clinical operations, performance improvement, labor optimization, clinical operations and beyond focused in a provider setting experience required.
Flexible, positive, clear interpersonal and communication skills with ability to facilitate the exchange of information within all levels of Guidehouse as well as a provider based, client organization, including, but not limited to, hospital executives, physicians and other professional and ancillary staff.
Ability to develop and monitor performance metrics at all levels of operations both clinical and non-clinical.
Ability to articulate financial results across multiple projects with ease; highly quantitative orientation
5+ years rigorous project/program management leadership of complex provider deliverables in larger provider systems.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills and ability to independently produce documents or aptitude to develop this level of skill within a defined period of time ; MS Project Experience preferred
Undergraduate degree required, master's degree preferred in business, systems engineering, healthcare administration or equivalent professional experience
Ability to travel up to 75%
