What You Will Do:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in identity and access management (IAM) and experience with implementing and managing multi-factor authentication solutions. The MFA Engineer will play a critical role in enhancing our security posture by ensuring the secure and seamless implementation of MFA across our organization.

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain MFA solutions to protect sensitive systems and data.
  • Integrate MFA with existing identity and access management systems.
  • Customize MFA policies to meet the security requirements of different user groups and applications.
  • Monitor the performance and effectiveness of MFA solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MFA authentication.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of MFA configurations and policies.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance MFA configurations to improve security and user experience.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to authentication and access control.
  • Participate in security incident response activities as needed.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
  • Minimum four (4) Proven experience in implementing and managing MFA solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) principles and technologies.
  • Experience with MFA products and platforms (e.g., Duo, Okta, Microsoft Authenticator, RSA SecurID).
  • Familiarity with authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
  • Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) 

The annual salary range for this position is $100,200.00-$150,200.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
