What You Will Do:

  • As a System Admin you will  Install, configure, and upgrade Windows Server operating systems and software.

  • For Server Maintenance you will monitor server performance (CPU, memory, disk usage) and perform regular maintenance to ensure stability.

  • Manage user accounts in Active Directory , permissions, group policies (GPO), and implement security protocols to protect against threats.

  • For Backup & Disaster Recovery you will ensure data integrity by scheduling, monitoring, and testing system backups.

  • You will apply security patches, updates, and service packs to servers.

  • You will troubleshoot and Analyze and resolve server-related hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.

  • For Documentation you will create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and inventory. 


What You Will Need:

  • Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card holder.

  • A bachelor's degree or Four (4) additional years of experience is needed in lieu of degree.

  • Minimum of Four(4) Years of System Administration experience needed.

  •  Proficient in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware).

  • Scripting experience with Powershell for automation is highly desirable.

  • Networking-Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN configurations, and firewall management.

  • No visa sponsorship available for this position.

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Certifications: Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or similar certifications are often preferred.

  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to work in a team environment. 

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
