What You Will Do:

This Project Manager will be responsible for leading special projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the ongoing evolution of the agency’s CPIC functions.

  • Assisting investment teams with the changing CPIC requirements and goals.

  • Tracking funding adjustments for IT programs.

  • All Acquisition Approval Request (AAR) processing, updating guidelines and requirements.

  • Facilitating ACIO approvals on internal requests.

  • Working with project teams to modernize programs across the CIO.

  • Providing expert guidance to enable the development of a comprehensive customer journey solution to include policies and standards development, technical requirements gathering, software development and deployment, and communication strategies and training with the goal of improving service delivery to our customers.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelors  Degree, Additional Four Years of experience will be needed in lieu of degree.

  • 8 years of experience including 5-7 years of experience managing complex projects.    

  • Experience in project management disciplines, including organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks.

  • Experience with Federal acquisition processes and procedures.

  • Experience interfacing with Federal Government clients including those at higher levels.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with project and program management principles, methods, and techniques.

  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills; balancing strategic alignment with technology roadmap and emerging industry trends with practical delivery

  • Excellent communication written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Understanding of interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.

  • Must be US Citizen.

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust level clearance.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • USDA experience preferred.

The annual salary range for this position is $102,000.00-$170,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
