What You Will Do:

Senior Consultants have responsibility for client management, solution implementation and generation of project results. You will own project workstreams and interact with the client daily to ensure engagement success. This includes supporting day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders. Senior Consultants are expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives. You will lead, coach and mentor consultants and ensure quality deliverables.

As you hone your project management skills, leadership abilities and the aptitude for managing multiple workstreams, you will have the opportunity to progress to the Managing Consultant level. 


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3+ years of clinical documentation improvement and/or coding experience at the hospital level, focused on optimization and performance improvement
  • 3+ years of management consulting/consulting like, professional services, and/or project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, be self-motivated and meet project deadlines 
  • Ability to present to large groups, both externally and within the practice
  • Proven success in driving operational process improvement and change management for revenue cycle optimization projects within hospitals and/or health systems
  • Intermediate to advanced data manipulation and analytical skills using Excel


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or Clinical Administration, RN, RHIA, RHIT
  • Master's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Clinical Administration
  • Strong EHR technical build and/or certifications highly desired (Epic preferred)
  • Experience with diverse range of EMR systems 
  • Documentation for program development, metrics, dashboards, education   
  • HCC Risk Adjustment coding experience, ED Facility Coding experience
  • AI technology experience in Clinical Documentation and/or coding  

The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
