What You Will Do:

The Training Lead will serve as the senior lead for training and adoption efforts supporting the Oracle Health (Cerner) Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive training strategy for clinicians, administrators, and care team members across a range of healthcare settings. Working closely with clinical, operational, IT, and vendor teams, the Training Lead will help ensure end users are prepared, confident, and proficient in using the new EHR system. This position plays a critical role in driving user adoption, aligning workflows, and supporting the overall success of the implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the training workstream throughout the full lifecycle of the Oracle Health Millennium and RevElate implementation.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, role-based training strategy for clinicians, revenue cycle teams, administrators, and ancillary staff.

  • Design curricula, training materials, eLearning modules, job aids, and simulation exercises aligned to clinical and operational workflows.

  • Oversee the training environment build, including scenario development and alignment with system configuration.

  • Coordinate and deliver training through instructor-led sessions, virtual learning, and at-the-elbow support.

  • Establish and manage a network of super users and credentialed trainers across hospitals and care settings.

  • Ensure training content reflects clinical best practices, regulatory requirements, and standardized workflows.

  • Partner with clinical and operational leaders to assess training effectiveness and support workflow adoption.

  • Lead go-live training readiness activities, including end-user preparation, mock scenarios, and command center support.

  • Measure training effectiveness through key performance indicators and adjust the approach as needed.

  • Integrate change management efforts by aligning training, communications, and stakeholder engagement strategies with the broader workstream.

  • Collaborate with Oracle Health and third-party vendors on training tools, content development, and best practices.

  • Support the transition from legacy workflows and paper-based processes to standardized digital workflows.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 3–5+ years of experience in healthcare training, including large-scale EHR implementations.

  • Demonstrated experience with Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, and other EHR platforms in complex, multi-entity environments.

  • Experience leading training workstreams for at least two Oracle Health (Cerner) or comparable EHR implementations, such as Epic or MEDITECH.

  • Proven ability to design and deliver training for both clinical users and administrative functions.

  • Strong understanding of clinical and operational workflows in hospital and ambulatory settings.

  • Experience with instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, and simulation-based training methods.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale training deployments across multiple sites and user groups.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Experience using training environments, learning management systems, and curriculum development tools.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Deep experience with the Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium platform and related training methodologies.

  • Experience establishing and managing super user programs and train-the-trainer models.

  • Familiarity with revenue cycle workflows, including registration, coding, billing, and claims management.

  • Experience supporting go-live readiness, including mock go-lives and command center activities.

  • Knowledge of change management frameworks such as Prosci or ADKAR.

  • Experience with behavioral health, acute care, ambulatory, and long-term care workflows.

  • Certifications in training, change management, or project management, such as PMP or Prosci.

The annual salary range for this position is $102,000.00-$170,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
