What You Will Do:

  • Oversee the transition of selected applications from ArcMap and Oracle to ArcGIS Pro and PostgreSQL, ensuring compatibility with the latest Esri Parcel Fabric technology. 

  • Design, rebuild, and maintain databases in PostgreSQL, ArcGIS Online Portal, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Geodatabases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with project standards and specifications. Assist in managing PostgreSQL databases using pgAdmin ensuring proper data queries and integration with geospatial applications. Provide technical guidance to IT specialists for database enhancements.

  • Utilize Python, SQL, and Arcade to develop tools that streamline cartographic and database management workflows. Develop modernized user interfaces for data management and data input that is functional for non-technical users in an Esri based platform.

  • Consult with leadership, present technical findings at internal and external meetings and help guide project management and success. 


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelors  Degree, Additional Four Years of experience will be needed in lieu of degree.

  • At least 6 years' experience overseeing the development of Geospatial systems.

  • Proven experience with ArcGIS Pro and PostgreSQL

  • Strong familiarity with ArcGIS Online Portal, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Geodatabases.

  • Proficient in a wide variety of Esri functionality, including python (Arcpy), ArcGIS Pro and Desktop, Arcade, Tasks, Data Reviewer, Parcel Fabric, Trace  Networks, and Model Builder.

  • Must be US Citizen and be able to pass a government security check.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience developing ArcGIS Desktop extensions (ArcGIS ArcObjects SDK).

  • ArcGIS Python APIs, Arcpy and Python.

  • ArcGIS Runtime SDK.

  • PL/SQL Developer.

  • ArcGIS Server REST services.

  • ArcGIS API for JavaScript.

  • Safe Software FME.

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS).

  • USDA experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $102,000.00-$170,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
