What You Will Do:
The Federal Law Enforcement Strategy and Transformation Associate Director will join and lead dynamic teams supporting U.S federal law enforcement customers. In this role, you will build teams, deliver solutions, and advise senior clients on law enforcement strategy, technology, trends, operational use-cases, and strategize with clients to develop business process improvements, strategic plans, and communications and training materials. In addition, they will support transformational initiatives to optimize operational processes and programs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support the strategic visioning, rationalization, and alternatives analysis for client leadership programs, initiatives, or priorities.
Support overall strategic framework for problem definition and facilitates executive solutioning sessions to help rationalize leadership direction.
Leverage law enforcement experience to provide field support training, logistics, and policy insights to identify programmatic enhancements and new investments/divestments to meet operational goals.
Deep understanding of the federal law enforcement environment, particularly regarding the day-to-day operations and execution of the Law Enforcement Officers (LEO).
Experience with the acquisition and/or use of services and technology, assets, and equipment required by LEOs when operating in the field.
Experience developing requirements and/or articulating field needs to headquarters leadership.
Lead the development of vision statements, design thinking workshops, and concept of operations related to client leadership program, initiatives and priorities.
Develop draft presentations and talking points to support executive briefings.
Build trusted client relationships to understand mission needs and deliver tailored, data driven solutions.
What You Will Need:
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred
Bachelor’s Degree
TEN (10) or more years of experience in federal law enforcement or border security
Experience leading teams in a federal law enforcement environment

Experience with building teams to address transformational challenges within law enforcement organizations
Experience presenting trends, research, and recommendations to clients and developing effective briefings and communication products
Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
History of identifying and utilizing innovative technologies
History of supporting business development initiatives, client management, and growing capabilities
Experience building teams and coaching employees
Experience managing teams delivering to federal senior leadership
