What You Will Do:
This position is a non-billable, full-time business development position for Guidehouse State and Local Government and Higher Education for Workday Services. The person in this role is focused on sourcing, developing, and closing net new Workday install base services deals with the Guidehouse Technology Segment – Workday practice.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for growing new opportunities and renewing existing contracts for Guidehouse Workday install base customers for State and Local Government and Higher Education
Responsible for building and maintaining a territory plan for the existing Workday Install base
Captures information on competitive ERP modernization opportunities
Responsible for building, retaining, strengthening, and maintaining client relationships
Responsible for developing and driving Workday marketing activities
Develop and maintain relationships with Workday Customer Base sales reps
Understands Guidehouse service offerings in other areas (non-Workday) for benefit of existing clients and prospects
Attends conferences and marketing events relevant to optimization and automation of Backoffice (FINS and HCM) in state and local government and Higher Education
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College
A MINIMUM of TEN (10) years of relevant professional work experience with an emphasis on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
A MINIMUM of FIVE (5) years of Workday services sales experience in state and local government
Experience cold calling, marketing to and developing new net prospects
Knowledge of Workday’s partner ecosystem and knowledge of Workday’s software offerings
Ability to travel up to 15%
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Master’s degree or MBA
Ability to write sections of RFP responses and proposals
Experience with Higher Education install base services sales
