What You Will Do:
Lead the GrantSolutions Security Team, overseeing all aspects of cybersecurity operations, compliance, and continuous monitoring.
Serve as the primary security lead and trusted advisor to federal clients, regularly briefing executives on team performance, risk posture, and compliance progress.
Manage and mentor a high-performing cybersecurity team while fostering a culture of operational excellence and proactive risk mitigation.
Own the full Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle, including documentation, implementation, control testing, and ongoing ATO maintenance.
Drive the adoption of cloud-native security controls, ensuring alignment with FedRAMP standards and the evolving cloud architecture.
Champion the integration of DevSecOps practices, including secure CI/CD pipelines, automated control enforcement, and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
Design and evolve system security plans (SSPs), architecture diagrams, incident response plans, and other core artifacts.
Respond to incidents with speed and clarity—overseeing forensics, containment, and lessons learned processes.
Monitor and manage vulnerability scanning, POA&M remediation, annual assessments, and other continuous monitoring activities.
Influence the long-term strategy of GrantSolutions by embedding security into delivery pipelines, modernization efforts, and system design.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including 5+ years managing federal security teams or client-facing security functions.
Expert knowledge of NIST 800-53, RMF, FISMA, and FedRAMP Moderate/High baselines.
Experience managing ATOs and leading 3PAO engagements, POA&M closures, and audit readiness activities.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and security configuration for platforms like AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with SIEM, vulnerability management platforms, and automated security testing tools.
Ability to lead incident response and manage forensic reviews across cloud environments.
Strong communication skills, with experience briefing federal executives and translating complex risks to business impacts.
Active CISSP, CISA, or similar security certification.
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Master’s degree in Information Security or a related field.
Experience supporting security strategy for DevSecOps environments, including tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, or Ansible.
Previous work with HHS or other federal agency platforms.
Hands-on experience leading a FedRAMP authorization effort or supporting security for SaaS/PaaS products in government.
Forensic analysis and incident response certifications (e.g., GCFA, GCIH).
Strong track record of influencing cross-functional delivery teams to adopt secure-by-design practices.
