What You Will Do:

Provide support for critical AFIMSC/RM budget and execution programs.  Tracks financial data affecting AFIMSC/FM’s portfolio and delivers an updated current status report that reflects funds issued to AFIMSC Operating Agency Code (OAC).  Monitors issuance, execution and tracking of program funds and prepares and tracks commitment and obligation documents and status such as Purchase Requests (PR), Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPR), contracts, Miscellaneous Obligation Document Record (MORD), Journal Vouchers (JV) and other related financial documents.  Tracks financial data, provided by AFIMSC civilian personnel and supports management in the preparation of reports/slides utilized for recurring AFIMSC meetings and quarterly Group, Board and Council meetings.  Support accounting reporting, functions and data calls such as the Dormant Account Report – Quarterly (DAR-Q), Monthly MORD reviews, Dormant Obligation/Unliquidated Obligations, Open Commitments and Control Summary Record (CSR) Management.

What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED NACI or DoD security clearance

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • THREE (3) years of experience in DoD financial management that directly relates to the PWS requirements


What Would Be Nice To Have:

Expertise with interagency/external relationships (Air Force, MAJCOM, SAF, HAF, Installations, and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS)) is highly desired. Experience with the following systems that will be utilized are:  AFM, CRIS, DEAMS, FM Suite, FRC, PIEE/EDA, EDM/EFR, PowerBI, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Certification:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

  • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)

  • Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)

  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
