What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is interested in independent individuals seeking project-based work as a KYC Analyst. We have teamed up with MBO Partners to provide contractors to our client. This opportunity allows you to work remotely and we offer exciting opportunities for people with the right skillsets looking to gain employment with our rapidly growing firm.

The ideal candidate has strong financial services, BSA/AML and KYC/EDD experience, is a proven self-starter who enjoys a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, collaborative, interpersonal and adaptive skills are necessary. And will have a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:

• Review accounts for wealth management clients; coordinate legal account documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with all relevant banking regulations

• Review KYC for completeness and accuracy as part of the customer validation to assess and document the risks associated with onboarding a customer

• Identify and address items through day-to-day assignments to ensure the Bank’s compliance and operational standards have been met

• Assist in conducting AML Screening/Customer Due Diligence (CDD) as part of refresh reviews on prospects and new/existing customers in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures

• Understand KYC documentation requirements and effectively communicate to clients for outreach

• Perform searches utilizing internet sources and/or third-party vendors to determine negative news and obtain due diligence information for prospects and new/existing customers

• Prepare written analysis when necessary for escalations and items of risk

• Be responsive and communicate effectively with colleagues throughout the bank

• Adhere to all designated time frames, manage workflow to the specified deadlines and complete responsibilities in a satisfactory manner

• Review and analyze data for trends, potential actions, and training needs

• Abide by bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance guidelines

What You Will Need:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial service company (banking)

• Minimum 2 years’ experience BSA/AML compliance experience

• Strong Microsoft Office skills (including Excel)

• Ability to interpret and act on instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

• Strong knowledge of legal entity documentation and legal entity structures

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to clear and professionally communicate requirements to internal partners

• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, internal partners, and external parties.

• Knows how to seek and encourage collaboration, and shares success

• Can assert own ideas and persuade others; gain support and commitment from others; and mobilize people to act

• Ability to work under pressure and ability to make decisions according to established

guidelines; work unsupervised and to accomplish tasks accurately and on a timely basis; prioritize work; strong organizational skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a production driven environment, while delivering quality standards

• Represents the Bank professionally at every contact with customers, staff, and vendor

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Associates degree or higher

The annual salary range for this position is $53,000.00-$88,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
