What You Will Do:
The Revenue Cycle Action Officer supports the Revenue Cycle Modernization & Innovation (RCM&I) team by coordinating and optimizing Oracle Health (MHS GENESIS) configuration to ensure accurate, compliant claims processing across the Military Health System (MHS).
Serving as a central PMO integrator, the role manages taskers, aligns cross‑functional stakeholders, maintains leadership awareness, and ensures revenue cycle priorities are reflected in system build and modernization activities.
Responsibilities of this role are as follows, to include but not limited to:
Task Management & PMO Support
Manage, track, and close taskers using DoD systems (e.g., TMT).
Maintain tasker battle rhythm, dependencies, schedules, and PMO trackers.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
Act as the primary liaison among revenue cycle SMEs, Oracle Health configuration teams, DHA stakeholders, and DHNs.
Gather and consolidate inputs, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Information Synthesis & Leadership Products
Translate technical configuration and revenue cycle requirements into clear briefs, papers, and decision materials.
Produce high‑quality executive documentation aligned with senior leader intent.
Issue Analysis & Recommendations
Assess operational, policy, and technical issues related to Oracle Health revenue cycle capabilities.
Identify gaps and provide data‑driven recommendations.
Process Oversight & Governance
Support SOPs, templates, and governance processes for task management and RCM&I oversight.
Monitor workflow compliance and recommend process improvements.
Leadership Support
Maintain situational awareness for PMO and senior leaders on all actions.
Draft official correspondence, memos, and presentations; manage meeting agendas, notes, and action tracking.
Revenue Cycle Modernization Alignment
Monitor initiatives affecting charge capture, billing accuracy, payer rules, CDM integrity, and denial reduction.
Ensure taskers tied to MHS GENESIS configuration are coordinated across revenue cycle functional leads.
What You Will Need:
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
Bachelors Degree
THREE (3) or more years of experience in project management and/or consulting
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, public administration, or related field preferred.
PMP or CAPM Certification.
Strong program/project management experience (PMO support, tracking, reporting).
Demonstrated expertise managing taskers in military or federal environments.
Excellent staff writing, briefing, and document development skills.
Ability to translate senior guidance into actionable tasks and measurable outcomes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
Understanding of DoD/Joint staffing processes, decision-making hierarchies, and military organizational structures.
Exposure to Oracle Health (Cerner) or MHS GENESIS EHR workflows (especially revenue cycle modules) is highly desired.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to engage technical and non-technical personnel across clinical, financial, IT, and operational domains.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving modernization environment.
Demonstrated expertise managing taskers in military or federal environments.

Prior experience in a military, government, or consulting environment highly valued.
