The ideal candidate is an expert communicator who excels at translating complex technical and operational initiatives—such as Oracle Health (MHS GENESIS) revenue cycle configuration, workflow modernization, and system changes—into clear, engaging, and visually compelling communication materials. This role is central to ensuring transparency, alignment, and visibility across the modernization portfolio.

Responsibilities of this role are as follows, to include but not limited to:

Communication Strategy & Content Development

  • Develop and execute communication strategies supporting RCMI objectives and stakeholder engagement.

Multichannel Communication Products

  • Produce and maintain communication products across platforms, including executive briefings, newsletters, web/SharePoint content, infographics, fact sheets, and change communications.

  • Ensure all materials align with branding, messaging, and strategic priorities.

Leadership Presentation Development

  • Develop high‑impact presentations and briefing materials for senior leaders, governance bodies, and the RCMI PMO.

  • Partner with SMEs to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with program goals.

  • Support leadership engagements, conferences, and events, including targeted email and collaboration channels.

Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination

  • Collaborate with revenue cycle SMEs, PMO staff, Oracle Health teams, and functional partners to gather and validate content.

  • Coordinate messaging across workstreams to ensure consistency and timely communication.

  • Support communications for major milestones, releases, and program events.

Communication Governance & Reporting

  • Maintain communication calendars, schedules, and distribution lists.
Establish templates, standards, and style guidance in compliance with DoW branding and Section 508.

  • Track and report engagement metrics to improve communication effectiveness.

Change Management Support

  • Develop communications supporting change readiness, system updates, and workflow changes within MHS GENESIS.

  • Coordinate with training and operations teams to reinforce change impacts and user expectations.

What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

  • Bachelors Degree

  • THREE (3) or more years of experience in project management and/or consulting

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public affairs, marketing, public administration, business, or related field.

  • PMP or CAPM Certification.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.

  • Proven experience developing high visibility presentations, especially for senior executives.

  • Experience creating multi‑format communication products (visual, digital, written).

  • Experience working in or supporting a PMO environment.

  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and coordinate across diverse teams.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle processes (registration, coding, billing, claims, reimbursement).

  • Experience communicating about technical or system related topics such as EHR configuration, MHS GENESIS/Oracle Health, or IT modernization programs is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint expert), SharePoint, communication platforms, and graphic design tools.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinical, technical, operational, and leadership teams.

  • Professional presence with a highly polished communication style.

  • Demonstrated experience with the DoD; Military Health System experience a plus.

  • Experience with leading small teams, coaching and collaborating with colleagues, providing feedback and guidance on work performance.
