What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) professionals to support the Military Health System, preferably with experience in Federal Healthcare, the Defense Health Agency, or the Services. The role leads work product development, manages stakeholder relationships, and identifies process‑improvement opportunities while supporting business development across the MHS.

Responsibilities of this role are as follows, to include but not limited to:

  • Optimize and enhance RCM capabilities within the MHS GENESIS EHR, including workflow review, EHR configuration (Oracle Health/Cerner), and clinical–business workflow design.

  • Support data governance, automation/RPA efforts, and health informatics activities across multiple specialties (e.g., FirstNet, PathNet, RadNet, PharmNet, PowerChart, SurgiNet).

  • Establish continuous improvement processes and user‑feedback mechanisms; use tools like LightsOn to recommend improvements.

  • Contribute to revenue cycle functions such as charge capture, patient access, coding, and overall RCM optimization.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations using MHS data; prepare materials for DoD senior leaders.

  • Manage working groups and project teams, track tasks, and support workshops and summits.

  • Maintain collaboration with VA counterparts and contribute to innovation, interoperability, and pilot initiatives.

  • Lead deliverable development, oversee recurring tasks, and support strategic improvement opportunities with executives and stakeholders.

What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

  • Bachelors Degree

  • FOUR (4) or more years of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) build experience, including troubleshooting, system reconfiguration, and/or project management.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, or related field.

  • Experience with Oracle/Cerner EHR RCM builds, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system reconfiguration.

  • DoD or Military Health System (MHS) experience.

  • Experience leading small teams, providing coaching, and delivering performance feedback.

  • PMP, CAPM, or CRCR certification.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare sector domains (public health, provider, life sciences).

  • Technical expertise in MHS GENESIS RCM build, configuration, optimization, and revenue‑impacting workflow enhancements.

  • Ability to independently lead development, implementation, and validation testing of MHS GENESIS RCM system builds.

  • Experience with ticket‑queue/issue‑resolution systems.

  • Ability to collaborate with internal/external RCM stakeholders to resolve issues and implement enhancements.

  • Experience optimizing RCM workflows and integrating them with clinical workflows, including troubleshooting mis built or outdated workflows.

  • MHS business knowledge to support DHA stakeholders with communications, education, and training.

  • Experience creating course materials and delivering intermediate/advanced RCM training (including Edit Failures via Alpha II and SSI).

  • Understanding of clinical/business workflows and human‑factors/usability principles.

  • Ability to develop dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

  • Ability to assess risks and translate business requirements into technical/non‑technical documentation.

  • Strong client‑facing abilities, including preparing concise, accurate deliverables.

  • Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong organizational awareness and political savvy.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level presentations.

  • Ability to manage deadlines and recurring deliverables effectively.
