What You Will Do:
Design and implement responsive web pages and digital assets for the ACF CWIG platform.
Collaborate with UX researchers, content strategists, and developers to translate user needs into intuitive web designs.
Ensure compliance with Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards.
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
Support iterative design improvements based on user feedback and analytics.
Maintain design consistency across the CWIG website and related digital properties.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree. Additional Four (4) Years of experience is needed in lieu of degree,
3+ years of experience in web design, preferably in a government or nonprofit setting.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
Experience designing for accessibility and usability.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience working on federal government contracts or child welfare programs.
Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., Drupal, WordPress).
Knowledge of front-end development frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, React).
Experience with user research and usability testing.
Portfolio showcasing relevant web design projects.
