What You Will Do:
The AI & Analytics Innovation Lead will drive transformation of disparate programmatic data into strategic metrics that will aid decision-making across a major Program Executive Office (PEO) at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). This role combines both hands-on technical skills, deep data expertise, and consulting capabilities in order to deliver analytics, automate program data processes, creates dashboards/visualizations. This role will act as an Subject Matter Expert on AI/ML use cases, strategy, governance, and implementation for PEO business processes. Understanding of Generative AI will be particularly important as the PEO looks to derive more value from their data and streamline processes. The position will collaborate closely with the Program Management Office Business Executive on budgets, as well as program managers, data analysts, and technical teams to understand requirements, translate analytical findings into intuitive visuals, and ensure consistent, high‑quality presentation of information. The ideal candidate blends technical knowledge with strong communication skills, serving as a trusted advisor on how data and AI can accelerate innovation across the PEO. This role is part of Guidehouse's AI & Data horizontal and will have reach back to a larger team for collaboration and professional growth as a data practitioner.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)" Federal or DoD security clearance.
Must be able to sit for a CI poly within first 30 days.
Bachelor's Degree
SIX (6) or more years of experience
Experience delivering or consulting on data solutions related to data visualizations, data science, or AI/ML
Experience developing dashboards to effectively convey programmatic metrics (cost, schedule, performance) to various audiences, including executive leadership
Experience working with Tableau and designing dashboards that translate complex data into actionable insights
Strong understanding of Generative AI capabilities, use cases, technical requirements, and considerations for implementation
Familiarity with data and AI governance principles, such as privacy, model risk management, data quality, and responsible AI practice
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience with coding languages (examples: Python, SQL, R, etc.)
AI/ML development experience
Deep understanding of business operations, KPIs, and performance metrics, including how to connect analytic outputs to strategic decisions
Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, influencing decision-making and driving adoption of data and AI solutions
Experience with programming languages including Python and SQL and understanding of how to create data pipelines and transform large data sets
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Experience with Jira
Experience supporting NGA
Ability to evaluate, design, and guide AI implementations, including model selection, prompt strategy, operationalization, and integration into business workflows
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to connect technology capabilities to measurable business value
Understanding of modern data platforms and architectures, such as cloud ecosystems, analytics platforms, or enterprise data environments
Experience consulting with business teams to identify high-value use cases and create structured roadmaps for data and AI innovation
