What You Will Do:
The Data Visualization Expert is responsible for transforming complex, disparate programmatic data into clear, compelling visual narratives that support strategic decision‑making across a major Program Executive Office (PEO) at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. This role leads the design and development of dashboards, reports, and interactive visual tools that make insights accessible and actionable for a wide range of stakeholders. The position will collaborate closely with program managers, data analysts, and technical teams to understand requirements, translate analytical findings into intuitive visuals, and ensure consistent, high‑quality presentation of information. Additionally, the role will help guide Agile best practices across the PEO and help mature and advance data management activities. An ideal candidate will have the ability to operate independently and navigate an evolving organization and proactively identify new project opportunities to continue expanding the PEO's analytic capacity. This role is part of Guidehouse's AI & Data horizontal and will have reach back to a larger team for collaboration and professional growth as a data practitioner.


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)" Federal or DoD security clearance.

  • Must be able to sit for a CI poly within first 30 days.

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • TEN (10) or more years delivering or consulting on data solutions related to data visualizations, storytelling, Agile delivery, data science, or data analysis

  • Demonstrated experience developing data analytics models and visualizations employing proven industry standards in statistic/data science principals.

  • Demonstrated experience developing dashboards to effectively convey programmatic metrics (cost, schedule, performance) to various audiences, including executive leadership.

  • Demonstrated experience working with Tableau.

  • Demonstrated experience data mining, to include developing, manipulating, extracting data from, or maintaining databases.

  • Some experience with coding languages (examples: Python, MySQL, D3, SPSS, SAS, Visual Basic, R, etc.)


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience using Jira for project management and/or working with Jira data to create visualizations

  • Agile methodology experience or expertise; understanding of software development programs and applicable success metrics

  • Experience working with commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) statistical software or tools for data visualization (i.e., SPSS, SAS, MatLab, etc.).
