What You Will Do:

This team member is supporting a U.S. Federal law enforcement agency by conducting analysis of financial and business records (e.g. bank statements, wire transactions, virtual currency activity, etc.) and by delivering quantitative and qualitative analytical reports that illuminate the complex relationships between entities/individuals. This role requires experience conducting forensic/financial investigative accounting work, preferably in support of federal government case investigations. This team member will exhibit strong forensic accounting skills, supplement those skills with the ability to leverage open source and client criminal investigative datasets, and produce deliverables that may support evidentiary purposes.


What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Forensic Accounting, Finance, Economics or other field related to forensic accountants

  • THREE (3) or more years conducting forensic/financial investigative accounting work

  • Experience using financial and business tools and datasets

  • Ability to work on client-site 5 days a week


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • THREE (3) or more years providing forensic/financial investigative accounting support to Law Enforcement, Defense, and/or the

  • Certified Public Accountant licensure (CPA) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification

  • Intelligence Community on federal government case investigations

  • Experience conducting digital asset/cryptocurrency analysis

  • Chainalysis or other digital asset/cryptocurrency analysis certification

  • Experience conducting open-source research and analysis, as well as using criminal investigative tools and client-owned datasets to support federal investigations and prosecutions

  • Ability to work accurately with numerical detail to analyze, consolidate, and interpret financial data

  • Ability to clearly and succinctly brief team members and officials on complex financial topics

  • Demonstrated experience with effective communication skills, especially with senior level clients and an array of stakeholders

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as a team member
