We help clients navigate the complex world of climate change, sustainability regulation, shifting consumer preferences, and the energy transition to achieve sustainable and profitable products, processes, business models, and services. We apply and advise on leading frameworks such as Science-Based andNet-Zero Targets, CSRD, CSDDD,TNFD, TCFD, and create innovative digital, programmatic, and financial solutions withour clients. 

What You Will Do:

As a member of our team, you will work with various international and local clients across different industries on their sustainability and climate journeys. Assignments may include defining sustainability strategies and targets, measuring sustainability impacts, and developing and implementing programmes to, forinstance, abate greenhouse gas emissions or develop new products & services – all to drive real-world impact.

Our approach and indeed a differentiating factor in how we serve our clients is to combine advisory, strategy, and implementation support by collaborating and partnering withour them to achieve their goals and objectives. We also help clients navigate the mandatory and voluntary sustainability reporting landscape including CDP, TNFD, ISSB, CSRD and other relevant standards. 

Project teams are staffed interdisciplinary, across borders and client industries to deliver most value to our clients. In this role, you will learn, be challenged, and develop skills at a fast pace. You will contribute to complex projects and will learn about project management by managing smaller projects or workstreams as you enhance your holistic consulting skills

Further, in addition to hands-on experience, our inhouse training programme will teach you the diverse skills you need to succeed. You are expected to transition rapidly into a professional sustainability consultant.

  • You will create direct impact by supporting clients along their sustainabilityjourneywhile working together with your team to answer pressing sustainabilityquestions. This includes - but is not limited to - data collectionand analysis, industry research, writing reports, developing Excel models, translating findings and observations into meaningful conclusions and actionable recommendations, preparing presentations and workshops, and presenting your findings to clients.

  • You will contribute to complex projects and will learn about project management by managing smaller projects and workstreams.

  • You will work on diverse assignments which are all connected to corporate sustainability and the energy transition in different ways. Some examples: 

  • Developing a decarbonization roadmap for an industry sector association

  • Developing agreenhouse-gas (GHG) footprint and setting GHG emissions targets for a global restaurant brand,integrated energy company, or chemical company

  • Assessing physical climate risk exposure and identifying ways to mitigate risk for a global port and terminal operator

  • Setting up a sustainability programme for a global fashion company, including development of financing mechanisms

  • Supporting an industrial company to procure renewable electricity and transition on-site energy infrastructure to a lower carbon option, including designing and managing the related tendering process 

  • Preparing market forecasts for low-carbon building technology providers

  • Analysing the ESG-related risks for investors into a global biotech firm 

  • Assessing the climate risks and opportunities for a global food and beverage company

  • Set up a human rights policy and governance structure for a multinational retailer

  • Helping an energy company raise capital to finance its portfolio decarbonization

  • Performing a gap analysis and double materiality assessment under CSRD for a multinational company


What You Will Need:

  • Master’s Degree in engineering, energy, business, economics, or related subject.

  • Excellent academic performance (GPA 3.5 or equivalent).

  • 1 (ONE) or more years of relevant working experience (including paid internships).

  • Experience, from study, extracurriculars or work, interest in any area of Climate risk, resilience, and adaptation (e.g.TCFD), Energy (e.g. hydrogen economy, advanced energy technologies, electricity power and gas industries), Sustainability (e.g. greenhouse gas accounting standards, circular economy, abatement strategies, CDP, CSRD, ISSB) or Environmental and sustainability policy and strategy work.

  • Strong quantitative & analytical skills including data collection and organisational skills including proficiency in data analytics and analysis software e.g. Power BI, R, Arc GIS etc

  • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) and able to work fluently in English (all offices).



What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Willingness to travel internationally where required.

  • Professional proficiency in Dutch language (written and spoken).
