What You Will Do:
The Business Analyst will support a Salesforce system implementation that is focused on managing and monitoring foreign assistance budgets and project monitoring. The BA will analyze business processes, systems, and data to identify problems, opportunities, and solutions, ultimately improving efficiency and effectiveness. The BA will translate requirements and business needs to technical solutions, which will include gathering requirements, documenting processes, and communicating to stakeholders throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external) to understand business needs, processes, and challenges.
Elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and document business process flows and workflows.
Identify and evaluate potential solutions to address business problems.
Design and document system requirements and specifications.
Create clear and concise documentation, including business requirements documents, process flow diagrams, and user stories.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
Present findings and solutions to stakeholders, including management.
Participate in testing and user acceptance testing of new systems or processes.
Provide support during implementation and go-live phases.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and patterns.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Use data to support business decisions and recommendations.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelor's degree
THREE (3) years of experience with business analysis including ONE (1) year of Salesforce
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Advanced Degree in relevant field
Previousconsulting experience
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher
Experience with IT system requirements gathering and system implementation
Experience working with foreign assistance, including a detailed understanding of foreign assistance strategies, budgeting, and processes
Facility with and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
