What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is looking for a Senior Management Analyst to support a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client on mission‑critical human capital initiatives. This role contributes to the effective execution of our clients' programs by supporting structured, data‑driven, and compliant workforce processes in a highly regulated federal environment. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to public service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Assesses program effectiveness, develops assessment reports, and evaluates a broad range of Human Resources (HR) policies to ensure compliance with the strategic goals and objectives of the mission
Plans, research, and analyzes a broad range of resource program operations.
Identifies issues and program impediments; and recommends courses of action necessary to enhance program effectiveness. Uses information gathered to produce draft findings and assists with developing, monitoring and publishing performance metrics for all programs
Assists with developing and modifying policies and procedures as it pertains to new HR initiatives, as well as assists with conducting detailed evaluation on the status of HR policies and assists with ensuring that program requirements are incorporated in all aspects of the HR planning processes
Assists with assuring that all policy, regulatory and program issuances are properly integrated and are fully supportive of the agency’s mission requirements and various HR laws.
Assists with panels and committees of key management personnel to identify areas requiring management study assistance and assists with identifying highly efficient areas to serve as benchmarks for maximizing resources and reducing inefficiencies
Assists with analyzing quantitative and/or qualitative data and assists with conducting evaluations reflecting performance and progress of projects, supports making forecasts and projections and assists with recommending actions for timely decisions
Assists with preparing memoranda, correspondence, position papers, and other material
Assists with coordinating and responding to internal and external official requests for information, compliance inquiries and inspections in accordance with all deadlines utilizing executive level presentation
Assists with preparing and supports reviewing comprehensive recommendations regarding the development and/or modification of HR systems to enhance operational efficiency
What You Will Need:
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
Bachelor's Degree
FIVE (5) or more years of experience supporting Human Resources
