What You Will Do:
As a Senior Workday Solution Sales Consultant supporting the Federal market, you will play a pivotal role in selling and solutioning transformative Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions to government clients.
You’ll partner with federal agencies to understand their workforce challenges and architect Workday solutions that drive operational efficiency, compliance, and mission success.
In this role, your key responsibilities are to:
Translate complex federal HR requirements into scalable Workday configurations.
Lead discovery sessions to gather and document federal client requirements across HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules.
Articulate and demonstrate Workday solutions tailored to federal workforce needs, including union compliance, position management, and shared service models.
Collaborate with Guidehouse and Workday sales and account teams to develop a compelling value proposition
Support proposal development, solutioning, and client presentations in partnership with sales and delivery teams.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights on Workday best practices, federal HR transformation trends, and compliance frameworks.
What You Will Need:
Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust
Location: HIGHLY preferred in Washington, DC Metro Area. If you do NOT live in the DC Metro Area, you will be expected to travel to the area as needed.
Up to 50% non-local (for non-DC-residents) and local (for DC-residents) travel with a focus on work from home and/or Guidehouse office
Bachelor's degree with a MINIMUM of TEN (10) years of experience implementing and/or operating HCM solutions for the Federal Government, preferably using Workday; OR a Master's degree with a MINIMUM of EIGHT (8) years of experience implementing and/or operating HCM solutions for the Federal Government, preferably using Workday. Years of experience can be substituted for a formal degree, such as no degree with FOURTEEN (14) years of experience implementing and/or operating HCM solutions for the Federal Government, preferably using Workday
Deep knowledge of federal HR processes, including position classification, security clearance workflows, and shared service environments.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience in pre-sales or solution consulting.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience with federal shared service providers (e.g., USDA NFC, DOI IBC, DFAS).
Familiarity with federal procurement cycles.
Software as a Service work experience and/or knowledge of SaaS delivery models and associated characteristics
