What You Will Do:
Role will work closely under the direction of the SharePoint Designer/Developer, assisting with site development, page builds, workflows, and configuration tasks while growing technical and professional skills within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Support the Intranet Redesign
Assist in creating, configuring, and updating SharePoint Online sites, pages, and components using modern SharePoint features and templates.
Implement page layouts, web parts, lists, libraries, and branding elements based on designs provided by the lead developer.
Help migrate existing content into new structures with attention to accuracy, accessibility, and consistency.
Development & Configuration
Build and update simple forms, workflows, and automations using Power Automate and Power Apps.
Apply styling, scripting, or SPFx components as directed (depending on skill level).
Troubleshoot site issues, permissions challenges, broken links, search results, and other day-to-day SharePoint functionality problems.
Quality & Documentation
Follow development standards, branching practices, and QA processes established by the SharePoint Designer/Developer.
Maintain documentation, including site build notes, workflow diagrams, configuration guides, and test plans.
Assist with version control in Azure DevOps or GitHub.
Stakeholder Support
Work with business users to answer questions, gather requirements, and perform basic demonstrations or training.
Provide ongoing support to site owners as governance and content management processes are established.
What You Will Need:
Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience with SharePoint Online or MS 365 Environments.
Selected Candidate must be able to work in a hybrid environment and, based on client needs, may be required to work onsite up to five days per week.
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
US Citizenship is contractually required.
Basic understanding of:
Modern SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, pages, and web parts.
Permissions, navigation, and metadata concepts.
Power Automate for simple workflows.
Strong desire to learn and grow in SharePoint development, UX, and Microsoft 365 capabilities.
Ability to follow structured direction, meet deadlines, and work in a team-based environment.
Strong communication and documentation skills. Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Interest in UI/UX design, wireframing, or prototyping.
Exposure to governance, content strategy, or intranet best practices.
Experience working with communications.
