What You Will Do:

As a Strategy & Business Transformation Senior Consultant, you will provide business transformation and program strategy support for an emergency management client. Our management consulting professionals help our clients identify, evaluate, and solve some of their most complex challenges, assisting them in achieving their strategic goals and objectives to fulfill their mission and comply with Federal laws and regulations. The candidate must be adaptable and able to navigate teams through complex organizational dynamics, while recognizing client needs and challenges as they ariseIndividuals will engage in a diverse set of project-specific tasks covering a broad set of business transformation and strategiccapabilities.

Duties will include:

  • Support strategic leadership alignment workshops and planning 

  • Support the documentation of existing business processes and design of new processes to improve the operations of an organization 

  • Support development of recommendations for streamlining numerous business processes/operations

  • Support development a unified program strategy leveraging best practices, new ideas, and lessons learned from previous, individual business processes/operations 

  • Support development of insights and recommendations for client prioritization and investment

  • Support development and presentation of recommended plans of action for client action

  • Support implementation of short-, medium-, and long-term approved recommendations

  • Support a team with consolidating and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to support data-driven decision-making

  • Design and develop high-level communications products and strategies

  • Support development and delivery of effective strategic communications concepts and end-to-end meeting resources, including the strategy, preparation documents, facilitation guides, presentations, graphics, after action reports, etc.



What You Will Need:

  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust

  • Bachelor's degree in a management or other related field

  • TWO (2)+ years years of relevant experience (management or strategy consulting related field)

  • Possess a critical thinking mindset to identify and solve problems independently and with fellow team members

  • Ability as a strong, detail-oriented writer and editor, with capability to deliver quality content for a variety of audiences comfortably and confidently

  • Ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and provide creative solutions

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment



What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks 

  • Ability to execute across a variety of tasks simultaneously 

  • Experience in consulting

  • Experience applying project management concepts  

  • Experience with Section 508 compliance

  • Direct experience or familiarity with FEMA, emergency management, or grants management
