What You Will Do:

Overview:

The Consultant will have responsibility for client management, solution implementation and generation of project results.  They will support project workstreams, interact with the client daily, and support day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders to ensure engagement success. The Consultant is expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives and will work independently and as part of a team to ensure quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with U.S. Government customers and Guidehouse colleagues to solve problems and improve outcomes

  • Support U.S. Government programs and processes to meet agency mission objectives and organization-specific business plan goals

  • Identify and implement business process improvements

  • Develop work products that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for client consideration

As a Consultant, you will follow a clearly defined career path and continue to deepen your specialized industry knowledge and consulting skills. As you hone your project management skills, leadership abilities and the aptitude for managing multiple workstreams, you will have the opportunity for career progression.


What You Will Need:

  • Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance 

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • TWO (2) or more years of experience in general consulting, process improvement, or other relevant experience.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Strong analytical, writing and communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail, well organized and ability to self-prioritize multiple activities

  • Proficiency with Excel, databases, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Experience data gathering, data analysis, and problem solving

  • Knowledge of functional areas such as training, strategic communications, organizational design, change management, or policy analysis

  • Experience providing internal or external management consulting services to federal agencies, departments or bureaus

  • Previous experience working in or supporting large government programs, business management, strategic management, program analyst, budget officer, financial analyst, and change management functions

The annual salary range for this position is $71,800.00-$107,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
