What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a strategy and transformation consultant tohelp transform business processes,developand implement organizational strategies, improve efficiency and operations, and increase transparency and performance managementforour national security and federal law enforcement clients

As a consultant, you will be a critical member of project teams, helping our clients solve complex business challenges from strategy through execution. This includes conducting qualitative and qualitative data analysis,preparingand presenting well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives, and supporting day-to-day operational meetings with clients and consulting leaders.

Responsibilities

As a consultant, you will have an opportunity to deepen your specialized knowledge and consulting skills, with room for long-term professional growth and career development within the firm. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, outcomes oriented, and capable and willing to develop solutions on their own and collaboratively as part of a team of highly skilled professionals.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience withexpertisein two or more of the following areas:

  • Proven abilities and prior success working in a fast-paced environment with expectations to own and create a workstream, serving as a client advisor to help provide clarity and direction in ambiguous situations

  • Prior development of strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skillsrequired, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into tangible documents and/or deliverables

  • Prior experience in creating C-Suite level strategic communications and visuals

  • Prior experiencing developing and executing a stakeholder engagement and communications plan to engender alignment and buy-in across a large, diverse set of stakeholders without direct lines of reporting/authority

  • Prior experience in preparing and/orfacilitatingclient meetings and synthesizing data into high-level outputs

  • Prior experiencefacilitatingthe implementation of program and the program management initiatives

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple simultaneous projects in addition to time-sensitive ad-hoc requests

  • Excellent skills in MS Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint and Excel)

  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization approaches and tools

What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Top Secret Federal or DoD securityclearance

  • Bachelor'sdegree

  • TWO(2) or more years ofprofessional experience in consulting, strategy, organizational transformation, organizational development, process improvement, workforce strategy, change management, communications,monitoringand evaluation, or human capital.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Change management, process improvement, or project management certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green or Yellow Belt or CAPM)

  • Ability to think strategically while delivering tactically, with a keen attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Experience performing data analysis and using findings to recommend and implement improvements

  • Experience developing new and re-designing existing processes to meet new and/or evolving business requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels in an organization; ability to develop visually appealing and impactful communication materials

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and contribute as a team member, understanding personal and team roles, contributing to a positive working environment by building relationships with team members, and proactively seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback

  • Experience prioritizing and handling multiple tasks,researchingand analyzing pertinent client,industryand technical matters, andutilizingproblem-solving skills to achieve desired outcomes

The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
