What You Will Do:

The Working Capital Fund Manager will support the planning, management, and execution of WCF and office budgets for a Department of State organization. The incumbent will perform activities including: forecasting, tracking, reconciliation, and reporting, as well as acquisition support for goods and services. Additionally, they will coordinate closely with program managers and leadership to assist with the proper budgeting of funds and compliance with applicable policies.

Day to Day Responsibilities May Include:

  • Manage incoming WCF contributions and ensure proper allocation.

  • Track revenue and expenses to ensure full cost recovery.

  • Support rate development and cost model reviews.

  • Monitor WCF balances and recommend corrective actions when necessary

  • Participate in and provide briefings and presentations about acquisition process to senior management.


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.

  • FIFTEEN (15) or more years of experience with federal government acquisition management activities.

  • FIVE (5) or more years’ of direct experience in federal government acquisition management activities or asset management requirements within the last 7 years.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Experience in the private sector as Senior Program Manager, Team Lead equivalent position providing contracted support to federal agencies preferred.

  • Have a strong understanding and mastery of federal government acquisition process with understanding of all aspects of acquisition from pre-award, award, post-award, and contract management.

  • Previous FAC-C (or equivalent) certification preferred.

The annual salary range for this position is $149,000.00-$248,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
