The Military Future Plans Analyst will be responsible for supporting initiatives on a complex Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) business transformation program, with a responsibility to articulate BUMED’s interests and positions on mission, policy, and capability. They will conduct analyses and apply findings to drive progress across the enterprise. This individual will provide consulting and program management support across a variety of domains including organizational change, operational plans, policy, and analytical support.
The Consultant will also support business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
What You Will Do:
Assist with the development of analyses to address priority BUMED initiatives.
Develop slide decks / presentations and Memorandums to/from DoD Senior Leaders.
Support wargaming, experimentation, studies, and exercise and operational planning where required.
Oversee change management communications, training, and pilot programs.
Assist with strategic Navy Medicine efforts and provide organizational program support
Prepare written materials to communicate findings to local and organizational leadership.
Develop weekly and monthly reports/deliverables to show progress, as well as document lessons learned.
Coordinate and support client meetings.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelor’s degree
THREE (3) or more years of general consulting experience or other relevant experience
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Military experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to executive leadership.
Ability to handle demanding situations with clarity, focus and professionalism, and respond quickly to quick turnaround taskers.
Ability to devise creative solutions and identify client challenges.
Ability to organize, perform, and track multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Ability to manage deadlines and recurring deliverables.
Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Products and related applications.
